College and Career Success to be Profiled in New Publication

Vocational Technical School Chooses Wendt Partners

11/4/2009

Students throughout two counties in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will learn about new opportunities available to them through exciting educational pathways offered by their regional vocational technical school, thanks to a new partnership. Cumberland-Perry Area Vocational Technical School (CPAVTS) selected Wendt Partners to work with the school's administration and faculty to develop and deploy a new regional newsletter program. The newsletter strategy is part of CPAVTS' expanded effort to increase awareness of the unique opportunities available to students who choose to enroll at the institution.

CPAVTS is a regional vocational technical school serving students in Cumberland and Perry counties within the Harrisburg region of Pennsylvania. Students who enroll at CPAVTS benefit from a wide array of hands-own programs, supported by a dynamic and intensive academic program. While at CPAVTS, many students are additionally able to take advantage of dual-enrollment courses, which deliver college credit for advanced classes taken during high school.

The CPAVTS model offers students the opportunity to prepare for college or career success while attending a dynamic career-focused educational program during a part of their high school career. Many CPAVTS graduates have gone on to successful entrepreneurial careers or post-secondary education with a solid foundation provided by their experience.

Under the dynamic leadership of Mary Rodman, administrative director, and an engaged and enthusiastic faculty, the school has continued to develop exciting and relevant instructional programs that teach students how to be successful academically, technically, and with critical 'soft-skills' that employers and colleges alike consider crucial.

Wendt Partners will work with CPAVTS to design, develop and distribute the new publication throughout the region in order to enhance awareness and understanding of the exciting innovations taking place at the school, and the opportunities available to students and their families.

Cumberland-Perry Vocational Technical School is the latest educational institution to choose Wendt Partners. The firm, with offices in Washington, D.C. and Mechanicsburg, PA, offers a highly focused practice area with in-depth expertise in public and private secondary and post-secondary education, as well as in educational programming and policy.
